For example, if you notice a spider web in the home on Christmas morning, it is considered to be a token of good luck. According to Ukrainian tale there was a woman so poor, that she was not capable to buy Christmas decorations for her home. One Christmas morning, she woke up and noticed that spiders had embellished her tree with their shimmering webs. When the morning sun rose up, the webs glittered with silver and gold. Since than we use web-like decorations for Christmas.
